Designates April 24, 2019, as Suits and Sneakers Day in Michigan to raise awareness about cancer prevention and support.

Recognizes the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches that has raised over $87 million since 1993.

Notes that more than 58,000 Michiganders are projected to receive new cancer diagnoses in 2019 and face physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

Encourages lawmakers and all Michiganders to wear suits with sneakers on this day to promote cancer awareness and advocate for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.

Urges residents to use the day to educate themselves about cancer, reduce personal risk factors, and obtain appropriate health screenings.
