Urges Congress and the President to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon following the August 4, 2020 Beirut Port Explosion that killed over 150 people and wounded more than 5,000 others.

Describes the explosion as registering 3.3 on seismographs and the third most powerful explosion in history, destroying the Port of Beirut which handled 60 percent of Lebanon's imports.

Notes the explosion destroyed grain reserves and food imports, created billions in damages, left approximately 300,000 people homeless, and severely damaged medical infrastructure already strained by COVID-19.

Requests humanitarian aid specifically in the form of medical supplies, medications, and emergency funding to address widespread food insecurity, lack of electricity, shortages of medical equipment, and homelessness.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the President, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, President of the U.S. Senate, and Michigan's congressional delegation.
