Honors Representative Brandt Iden for his service during three terms representing the Sixty-first District, which includes Portage and portions of Oshtemo, Prairie Ronde, Schoolcraft, and Texas townships.

Recognizes Iden's background including bachelor's degrees in political science and economics from Kalamazoo College, prior service as Kalamazoo County Commissioner, and leadership roles in real estate development and management.

Commends his legislative work as vice chair and chair of various House committees including Communications and Technology, Regulatory Reform, and Ways and Means, as well as service on Commerce and Trade, Oversight, Workforce Talent and Development, and Tax Policy committees.

Acknowledges his policy achievements including advancing legislation on student athlete compensation for their images and regulating online casino-style gaming and sports wagering.
