• Protects voter registration applications of address confidentiality program participants from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.

• Requires the qualified voter file to include a unique identification number for program participants and designates all their file information as confidential and exempt from public disclosure.

• Mandates that poll lists and poll books for program participants contain only their name and a notation directing election inspectors to contact the city or township clerk for processing instructions.

• Amends absent voter ballot procedures to allow clerks to notify electors within 48 hours if their absent voter ballot applications are rejected due to signature mismatch or missing signature.

• Takes effect June 27, 2021, contingent upon Senate Bill 70 of the 100th Legislature also being enacted into law.
