• Appropriates $28,699,800 from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund for capital outlay projects in fiscal year ending September 30, 2020.

• Funds 74 projects including land acquisitions ($8,130,800) and recreational facility developments ($9,632,100) across Michigan counties, with grants-in-aid to local units of government totaling $17,762,900.

• Requires local government grant recipients to dedicate acquired or developed land to public outdoor recreation in perpetuity and provide the state with minimum 1/6 royalty interest in retained minerals on parcels larger than 5 acres.

• Redirects $403,800 from a withdrawn 2018 project (Randall Lake) and $29,600 from a withdrawn 2019 project (Negaunee Trailhead) to fund projects in this appropriation.

• Takes effect immediately upon approval by the Governor on July 31, 2020.
