Establishes the "Pay Equity in the Workplace Award Program" within the Michigan Department of Civil Rights to encourage employers to eliminate pay inequality between men and women performing comparable work.

Directs the director of the Department of Civil Rights, in cooperation with the governor's executive office, to create benchmarks for model practices and eligibility criteria for the award.

Requires award eligibility criteria to include evidence that an employer has made substantial efforts to eliminate pay equality barriers and has decreased pay disparities between men and women performing comparable work.

Mandates the director establish procedures for nomination, application, and an annual award ceremony to recognize qualifying employers and encourage other employers to equalize pay.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment into law.
