Requires remote pharmacies to meet specific conditions including common ownership with parent pharmacy, location at least 10 miles from other pharmacies (unless in hospital/mental health facility or granted waiver for underserved areas), and adherence to strict operational requirements.

Permits qualified pharmacy technicians (with 1,000+ hours experience and national certification) to staff remote pharmacies under remote pharmacist oversight, with restrictions on compounding duties and patient counseling limitations.

Limits remote pharmacy operations to maximum 150 prescriptions per day and restricts pharmacists from simultaneously overseeing more than 2 other remote pharmacies while requiring monthly in-person inspections and 45-day retention of surveillance recordings.

Requires remote pharmacies to maintain written policies addressing federal/state compliance, pharmacist oversight procedures, inventory review, controlled substance monitoring, security, system failure recovery, and specific technical functions pharmacy technicians may perform.
