Brewers not licensed as micro brewers that produce 120,000 barrels or more annually may operate at most 2 approved tasting rooms for on-premises beer consumption in Michigan.

Brewers not licensed as micro brewers that produce fewer than 120,000 barrels annually may operate at most 3 approved tasting rooms for on-premises beer consumption.

Licensed micro brewers producing fewer than 30,000 barrels annually may operate tasting rooms at any of their approved locations; those producing 30,000 barrels or more may operate at most 3 tasting rooms.

Brewers with multiple licensed premises may sell beer produced at one location at tasting rooms at other locations if certain conditions are met, including having a multivessel production system, producing 50% of volume sold at that location, or submitting a license application before October 1, 2018.
