Department of Natural Resources may accept real property in Gogebic County, Michigan (Township 45 North, Range 39 West, Section 23, Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter) from the Gogebic County Road Commission for $1.00.

DNR shall convey the same property to the Township of Watersmeet for $1.00, excluding a 100-foot strip of land (50 feet on each side) along the former Iron River Railway Company main track centerline.

Conveyed property must be used exclusively for township park purposes and be open to all Michigan residents on equal terms, fees, and conditions; the state may reenter and repossess property if restrictions are violated.

State retains all rights to coal, oil, gas, and metallic minerals found on or under the property.

Revenue from conveyances ($2.00 total) must be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the general fund; effective immediately upon September 17, 2020.
