Waives work-search and availability requirements for individuals who leave employment due to conditions during a governor-declared infectious disease emergency, including quarantine, immunocompromise, school closures, or workplace closure by state action.

Adds condition (iv) to section 29(1)(a) establishing that leaving work during an infectious disease emergency does not disqualify an individual from unemployment benefits if specified conditions are met.

Specifies that benefits paid to individuals leaving work under the infectious disease emergency provision shall be charged to the nonchargeable benefits account rather than to the employer's account.

Changes the effective date reference in section 28(7) from "the effective date of the amendatory act" to "April 2, 2020" for work-search reporting requirements.

Makes minor technical corrections including grammatical changes to punctuation and capitalization in sections 28 and 29.
