Extends Medicaid coverage for pregnant women with annual household income between 133% and 185% of federal poverty guidelines for 12 months after pregnancy ends, effective October 1, 2020.

Postpartum extension covers pregnancy-related and postpartum services for 12 months beginning the day pregnancy ends, including live births, miscarriages, and stillbirths.

Coverage is available only to women who were eligible for and receiving Medicaid on the day their pregnancy ended and continue to meet nonfinancial eligibility requirements.

Woman cannot be eligible for Medicaid under any other medical assistance program to receive the postpartum extension under this section.
