For the 2020-2021 school year only, districts may use their 2019-2020 membership count instead of conducting a new pupil membership count day.

For the 2020-2021 school year only, districts and intermediate districts are not required to submit and certify enrollment and attendance data to the state by the specified deadlines.

For the 2020-2021 school year only, districts are exempt from the requirement to maintain at least 75% student attendance on any given instructional day or face state aid reductions.

For the 2020-2021 school year only, districts are not required to provide the minimum 1,098 hours of pupil instruction normally mandated under state law.

Districts remain subject to state aid forfeiture penalties under other provisions of the law unless specifically exempted by these amendments for the 2020-2021 school year.
