Removes references to May school election dates in sections 702 and 703 of the Revised School Code regarding intermediate school district annexation and disorganization procedures.

Changes the term end date for appointed school electors from "January 1 or, if the intermediate school district's regular school election is held in May, until July 1 after the next intermediate school district election" to simply "January 1."

Replaces archaic language throughout the sections by changing "shall" to "must" in multiple instances for clarity and consistency.

Updates provisions governing appointments of school electors to intermediate school boards following annexation or dissolution of intermediate school districts.

Enactment is conditioned on Senate Bill No. 1082 of the 100th Legislature being enacted into law.
