• Reduces timeframe for submitting sexual assault kit evidence to the department or accredited laboratory for analysis from 14 days to 7 days after taking possession.

• Reduces analysis completion timeframe from 90 days to 30 days after the laboratory receives all necessary evidence, subject to available staffing and resources.
