• Creates a Space Force Task Force within the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to position Michigan as a candidate for the U.S. Space Force headquarters location.

• Task Force consists of the Adjutant General, Director of Labor and Economic Opportunity, one gubernatorial appointee, four House members (two Republican, two Democratic), and four Senate members (two Republican, two Democratic).

• Members serve 2-year terms without compensation but may be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses; first members must be appointed within 60 days of the act's effective date.

• Task Force must work with state departments and the U.S. Department of Defense to understand Space Force needs, organize veterans' groups and stakeholders, and develop competitive industries.

• Task Force must submit a report to the Governor and relevant legislative committees within one year with recommendations on actions needed to make Michigan competitive for Space Force headquarters.
