Expresses support for bi-partisan discussion on renaming the 10 federal military installations currently named after Confederate generals.

States that Confederate generals do not represent military prowess or principles, and continuing to use their names amounts to expressing allegiance to the Confederacy and its racist ideology.

Notes that active duty service members, who disproportionately include African Americans, are assigned to bases named after men who fought to preserve slavery and oppress people based on race.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the President, Secretary of Defense, U.S. Army Chief of Staff, U.S. Senate President, Michigan House Speaker, and Michigan's congressional delegation.
