Congratulates the government and people of Taiwan on their 109th National Day on October 10, 2020.

Recognizes Taiwan-U.S. bilateral trade totaling more than $76 billion in 2018, with Taiwan ranking as the 15th largest trading partner of the United States and the United States the 13th largest for Taiwan.

Notes Michigan's strong trade relationship with Taiwan, with Taiwan as Michigan's sixth-largest Asian market and Michigan exports to Taiwan valued at $298.59 million.

Supports Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations that impact health, safety, and well-being, and its contributions to humanitarian aid and disease control efforts.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to the U.S. Secretary of State, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago, and Michigan's congressional delegation.
