Changes "upon" to "on" in the trespassing statute for grammatical consistency.

Expands the definition of "state correctional facility" to include facilities operated by private contractors under the corrections code for housing federal detainees and inmates.

Maintains existing felony penalty of up to 4 years imprisonment or $2,000 fine for willful trespassing on state correctional facility property without authority.

Clarifies that community corrections centers and community residential homes are excluded from the definition of state correctional facility.

Does not take effect unless Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4033 is enacted into law.
