• Expands the definition of "felony arising out of service as a public employee" to include criminal sexual conduct violations under Michigan Penal Code Chapter LXXVI (MCL 750.520a to 750.520o) when committed by a public school employee against a pupil or minor.

• Requires forfeiture of vested retirement benefits and accumulated employer contributions for public school employees convicted on or after September 4, 2017 of the newly included criminal sexual conduct felonies.
