Expands the Law Enforcement Officer Separation of Service Record Act to include corrections officers employed by the Department of Corrections or county sheriffs, in addition to law enforcement officers.

Requires law enforcement agencies and corrections agencies to maintain records documenting the reasons and circumstances for an officer's separation from service, and allows separating officers to review and dispute these records.

Requires both law enforcement officers and corrections officers seeking reemployment in Michigan to provide signed waivers allowing prospective employers to obtain separation records from former employers.

Prohibits prospective employers from hiring such officers unless they receive the separation records from all former employing agencies, with immunity granted to agencies that disclose information in good faith.

Applies the act to public employers and employees, except where inconsistent with the Michigan Constitution's public employment protections.
