Changes penalties for violations of the Motor Carrier Fuel Tax Act from criminal misdemeanor charges to civil infractions.

Replaces criminal penalties (fine up to $100 and/or imprisonment up to 90 days) with civil fine of up to $150.

Maintains license revocation requirement for violators, whether they are convicted or found responsible for a state civil infraction.

Applies to violations including false statements/returns, failure to file required returns, operating as a motor carrier without proper licensing, or any other violation of the act.
