Eliminates requirement for courts to report misdemeanor convictions under the Michigan Vehicle Code to the Department of State Police unless the offense is punishable by more than 92 days imprisonment, would be punishable by more than 92 days as a second conviction, or a judge orders reporting.

Removes subsection (4) which previously exempted violations of section 904(3)(a) of the Michigan Vehicle Code from mandatory reporting unless ordered by the court.

Changes terminology throughout the statute from "shall" to "must" and from "upon" to "on" for grammatical consistency.

Replaces "person" with "individual" in provisions regarding fingerprint collection and forwarding requirements.

Ties the bill's effectiveness to the enactment of Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4153 of the 101st Legislature.
