Adds requirement that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources designate 1 weekend per snowmobile season during which a trail permit is not required.

Snowmobile trail permit fee remains $45.00 for annual periods beginning October 1, 2011-2015, with adjustments every 5 years starting October 1, 2016 based on Consumer Price Index changes.

Trail permit revenue allocation: 50 cents to department for administration, $1.00 to selling agent, remainder to recreational snowmobile trail improvement subaccount.

Permits sold through the department website credit the agent's share ($1.00) to the trail improvement subaccount instead of to an agent.

Effective immediately upon signing, April 7, 2022.
