Preserves procedures for DNA sample disposal when charges are dismissed, result in acquittal, or charges are not filed within the applicable limitations period, with timelines and witness requirements for proper destruction.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment and is contingent on passage of Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4215 (the tie-bar requirement).
