Caps the total out-of-pocket cost for a 30-day supply of prescription insulin drugs at $50.00 for insured individuals under health insurance policies delivered or renewed in Michigan.

Applies to all health insurers that deliver, issue, or renew health insurance policies providing prescription insulin coverage in the state.

Permits insurers to reduce the insured's cost sharing below the $50.00 cap if they choose to do so.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment for health insurance policies delivered, executed, issued, amended, adjusted, or renewed in Michigan or outside the state if covering Michigan residents.
