Changes language in MCL 431.252 from "funds" to "money" and updates grammatical references throughout the section regarding unclaimed winning tickets from horse racing meets.

Removes the specific reference to "calendar year 1998 and each year thereafter" and replaces it with "each calendar year" to simplify the effective date language.

Maintains the 50-50 split distribution of unclaimed ticket money for standardbred and thoroughbred race meeting licensees between the licensee and the Michigan agriculture equine industry development fund.

Eliminates provisions for light horse race meeting licensees (previous subsection (c)) and removes outdated 1998-specific language regarding thoroughbred facility development and capital improvements.

Bill is contingent on enactment of either Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4599 (request no. 01076'21) of the 101st Legislature.
