Removes the provision that exempted the Michigan fireworks safety act (2011 PA 256) from being superseded by the Stille-DeRossett-Hale single state construction code act.

Clarifies that the construction code act supersedes conflicting provisions in various public acts including the skilled trades regulation act and other statutes, except as otherwise specified.

Preserves existing authority under environmental protection, public health, occupational safety and health, and other specified acts that are not affected by this construction code act.

Allows fire door assemblies with temporary door locking devices installed under 1937 PA 306 to remain compliant with construction code requirements.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4891 is also enacted into law.
