Allows Michigan State Housing Development Authority board meetings to be held electronically in compliance with the Open Meetings Act, including section 3a of the 1976 PA 267.

Changes terminology from "persons" to "individuals" throughout section 21 regarding authority board composition and appointments.

Replaces "shall" with "must" and "has been" with "is" throughout the statute for modernized legal language.

Updates the authority's departmental oversight from the Department of Consumer and Industry Services to the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

Maintains existing authority structure of 3 department heads and 4 gubernatorially appointed members (or 5 if federal law requires a designated resident member).
