Eliminates the requirement that juveniles or their parents/guardians pay fines, fees, and costs associated with juvenile court proceedings, effective July 1, 2022.

Prohibits courts from ordering juveniles or their families to reimburse the court for costs of care, services, court-appointed attorney representation, or other assessments related to the juvenile's court case.

Removes the requirement that courts order juveniles to pay the minimum state cost as a condition of probation or supervision.

Prohibits courts from ordering juveniles or their families to pay fees or costs associated with consent calendar services or community service.

Voids and makes unenforceable all previously assessed court-ordered fines, fees, and costs against juveniles under prior law, with courts ceasing collection efforts as of July 1, 2022.
