Exempts juveniles under the jurisdiction of the probate court from the 20% late penalty on unpaid court penalties, fees, and costs that applies to other persons.

Maintains the requirement that courts inform persons of late penalties and allow courts to waive late penalties upon request.

Preserves existing provisions requiring courts to specify due dates for penalties, fees, and costs, and to inform persons about delayed or installment payment schedules.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
