Requires the Department to maintain a database of child care centers, family child care homes, and group child care homes with name, address, telephone number, hours of operation, license details, and records of adverse actions and special investigations.

Mandates the Department make specific database information publicly available on its website at no charge, including facility contact information, license status, and inspection results from the past 3 years.

Requires public disclosure of monitoring inspection results, substantiated complaint investigation results, and special investigation results from the past 3 years, along with any corrective actions taken.

Obligates the Department to inform the public through press releases or other media about the availability of this child care facility information.

Takes effect immediately upon approval (June 23, 2022).
