Requires the state transportation department to coordinate with the department of environment, Great Lakes, and energy, electric utilities, and other interested parties to identify park-and-ride sites suitable for charging stations based on grid infrastructure capacity and traffic patterns.

Mandates the state transportation department submit a report within 1 year identifying the best-suited park-and-ride sites for electric vehicle charging stations to legislative committees with responsibility for electric vehicles and transportation, and post the report on its website for at least 4 years.

Adds definitions section clarifying "hospital" as a health facility licensed under article 17 of the public health code, "logo signage" as a business trademark or symbol sign, and "state trunk line fund" as established under 1951 PA 51.

Updates statutory language throughout section 2 by replacing passive constructions (e.g., "installation" and "shall") with active constructions (e.g., "installing" and "must") and makes minor grammatical corrections and reorganizations.
