Prohibits smoking marihuana in food service establishments and other places where the property owner, occupant, or manager prohibits it.

Clarifies that "public place" in the marihuana consumption prohibition does not include designated consumption areas within municipalities that restrict access to individuals under 21 years of age.

Establishes that a lease agreement cannot prohibit tenants from lawfully possessing marihuana and consuming it by means other than smoking.

Maintains employer rights to enforce workplace drug policies, discipline employees for marihuana use, and take adverse employment actions based on violation of drug policies or working under the influence.

Preserves existing protections and rights under Michigan's Medical Marihuana Act and medical marihuana facilities licensing act.
