Requires insurers requesting mental or physical examinations to show good cause to a court before requiring claimants to submit to examination.

Mandates that examining physicians provide claimants with a statement demonstrating how they meet licensing and specialty requirements.

Requires examining physicians to disclose all expert testimony cases from the previous 4 years and compensation received for those cases and the current examination.

Caps examination fees at 55% of the average amount charged on January 1, 2019, with reductions to 54% (after July 1, 2020) and 52.5% (after July 1, 2021).

Allows claimants to elect audio or audio-visual recording of the examination and to have an attorney or other individual present during the examination.
