Expands liability protections for emergency medical services personnel to explicitly include "transportation of a patient" in addition to treatment of patients.

Adds a new definition of "transportation of a patient" to mean the handling and movement of a patient by any method related to transport, including transfer by stretcher or other equipment.

Maintains existing immunity from liability for emergency medical services personnel, medical directors, hospitals, life support agencies, education programs, and related individuals unless acts or omissions result from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Clarifies that clinical preceptor immunity applies only to acts directly relating to student clinical training while physically present with the student, not to acts that indirectly relate or do not relate to training activities.
