MI HB5300

Adds definition of "licensed specialty medical grower" to the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act and allows these growers to transfer marihuana to commercial growers through secure transporters, with transfer limits to be established by the marijuana regulatory agency.

Prohibits marihuana transferred from licensed specialty medical growers to commercial growers from being transferred to persons licensed under the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act (recreational marijuana).

Expands the scope of safety compliance facilities and secure transporters to accept marihuana from licensed specialty medical growers in addition to other marihuana facilities.

Modifies eligibility requirements for processor licenses to prevent processors from simultaneously holding licenses as registered primary caregivers or licensed specialty medical growers.

Bill takes effect only if companion bills HB 5301, HB 5302, and two other specified bills (request nos. 04326'21 and 04327'21) are also enacted into law.
