Requires buildings with nonresidential or mixed-use purposes and parking areas of 25 or more spaces to install electric vehicle charging stations equipped with Type 1 plugs capable of Level 2 charging or higher.

Specifies minimum charging station requirements: 1 station for 25-50 spaces, 2 stations for 51-75 spaces, 3 stations for 76-100 spaces, and 3% of total spaces for 101+ spaces.

Charging stations must be accessible to the public, maintained operational, and may charge fees or require paid membership.

Applies to all new site plans and any revised, amended, or expanded parking areas, including resurfacing projects.

Allows developers or property owners to request exemptions or reductions based on anticipated parking duration, cost considerations that would preclude the alteration, or governmental taking concerns.
