Allows victims to independently move for protective orders preventing disclosure of personal identifying information (address, employment, phone number) at pretrial proceedings and trial, not just prosecuting attorneys.

Expands protections for abuse victims to include all victims of abuse, criminal sexual conduct, or related crimes regardless of age (removes prior restriction to victims under 18 years old).

Permits victims of abuse, sexual conduct crimes, and similar offenses to use pseudonyms or initials instead of their names in court files and ordinary court documents.

Defines "abuse" to include conduct under specific Michigan Penal Code sections (750.81, 750.81a, 750.136b, 750.145e, and 750.462a to 750.462h) and other abusive conduct.

Removes victim address from protections when the address is used to identify the crime scene location, but maintains exemption of contact information from Freedom of Information Act disclosure.
