Adds definition of "law enforcement agency" as defined in the Michigan vehicle code.

Adds definition of "stop-arm camera system" as a synchronized multi-camera system affixed to school buses that records video or photographs of vehicles violating section 682(1) of the Michigan vehicle code (failing to stop for or passing a school bus), capturing the vehicle and rear registration plate with date, time, and location recorded.

Allows school districts to install and operate stop-arm camera systems on school buses, enter into agreements with law enforcement agencies to report violations and share camera footage, or contract with private vendors to install and operate the systems.

Removes redundant definition of "stop-arm camera system" previously located in section 20.

Bill takes effect only if House Bill No. 5508 and House Bill No. 5509 are enacted into law.
