Lowers the minimum age from 18 to 16 years old for employees performing certain non-sales duties at off-premises alcohol retailers, including building displays, marking prices, rotating stock, and placing products on shelves.

Allows 16-year-olds who hold a Michigan commercial driver license or chauffeur's license to transport and deliver alcoholic liquor to retailers in commission-licensed vehicles.

Maintains existing requirements that individuals selling, delivering, or promoting alcohol to retailers must be licensed as salespersons and complete an accreditation program, with limited exceptions for spirits vendors and manufacturers.

Exempts designated employees of spirits manufacturers, spirits vendors, and certain brokers from the salesperson accreditation program requirement when obtaining or renewing licenses.

Effective immediately upon approval by the Governor on June 29, 2022.
