Prohibits retaliation or discrimination against individuals who testify, assist, or participate in investigations regarding violations of the act, or who oppose violations.

Voids any employment agreements or waivers that require individuals to waive or limit protections granted under the act.

Allows individuals injured by violations to bring civil actions for damages or injunctive relief, with prevailing plaintiffs entitled to recover court costs and reasonable attorney fees.
