Exempts the 2021-2022 school year from the requirement that 40% of annual teacher evaluations be based on student growth and assessment data.

Modifies evaluation criteria for the 2021-2022 school year to allow use of alternative performance standards from section 1248 instead of the standard evaluation framework.

Removes the requirement that training costs for teacher evaluations be funded from the educator evaluation reserve fund under section 95a of the state school aid act.

Takes effect only upon enactment of Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5994 (a tie-bar provision requiring companion legislation).
