Appropriates $14,821,340,700.00 from the state school aid fund, $97,619,400.00 from the general fund, up to $72,000,000.00 from the community district education trust fund, and up to $100.00 from the water emergency reserve fund for public schools and education purposes for fiscal year ending September 30, 2022.

Allocates up to $9,828,000.00 to one district forced to close a school building for at least 20 consecutive school days due to an act of pupil violence, for personnel, student supports, security, and building restoration; unexpended funds carry forward to 2022-2023.

Allocates $15,000,000.00 total ($11,250,000.00 from school aid fund, $3,750,000.00 from general fund) for grants to districts and nonpublic schools to contract with vendors for comprehensive school safety and security assessments at up to $2,000.00 per school building.

Allocates $12,500,000.00 total ($10,000,000.00 from school aid fund, $2,500,000.00 from general fund) to districts and nonpublic schools for implementation of critical incidence mapping that includes detailed floor plans, labeling, coordinates, and emergency information for first responders.

Establishes that all appropriations take effect immediately on June 10, 2022; total estimated state spending on school aid for fiscal year 2021-2022 is $14,990,960,200.00.
