Allows counties to establish single-member districts for county road commissioner elections instead of at-large elections.

Requires candidates for single-member district positions to be residents of their respective district and to collect nominating petition signatures from registered electors within that district.

Changes eligibility requirement to prohibit county board of commissioners members (instead of supervisors) from serving as county road commissioners.

Adds vacancy provision that requires appointed replacements in single-member districts to be residents of that district.

Bill takes effect only if Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 6094 is also enacted into law.
