HB 6106 Summary

• Defines "alcohol vapor device" as any device that produces vapor or mist from alcoholic liquor for inhalation through the mouth or nose

• Permits suppliers in the alcohol manufacturing tier to produce private label beer, wine, or mixed spirit drinks for retailers if the supplier independently appoints wholesalers to distribute the products

• Requires private label products to be registered with the commission and ensures appointed wholesalers remain exclusive distributors even if the retailer switches suppliers, unless the wholesaler is terminated

• Prohibits nonalcoholic beverage producers with ownership interests in alcohol suppliers from obtaining wholesaler licenses

• Takes effect October 14, 2022, contingent upon enactment of House Bills 6105 and 6107
