Prohibits possession of firearms within 100 feet of an absent voter counting place or combined absent voter counting place while absent voter ballots are being processed.

Exempts uniformed law enforcement officers acting in the course of their duties from the 100-foot firearm restriction.

Updates the existing firearm prohibition statute to reference the current Michigan liquor control code (1998 PA 58, MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) instead of the 1933 act.

Clarifies that existing exceptions to firearm prohibitions (security personnel, peace officers, licensed concealed weapon carriers, and those with owner permission) apply to the revised statute.

Maintains existing misdemeanor penalty of up to 90 days imprisonment or a fine not exceeding $100.00 for violations.
