Allows insurance producers who are active members of an approved professional insurance association to receive 4 credit hours toward the required 24 hours of continuing education for license renewal.

The 4 credit hours do not satisfy the separate requirement of 3 hours in ethics in insurance classes or coursework.

Requires the director to approve professional insurance associations that have existed for at least 5 years, were formed for purposes other than providing continuing education, and have filed articles of incorporation.

Requires approved associations to certify that members maintain active membership, attend 50% of regular meetings, and attend at least one statewide meeting annually.

Applies to insurance producer license renewal for review dates after December 31, 2022.
