Identifies key American historical figures (including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King Jr., and others) and foundational documents (Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Gettysburg Address, Emancipation Proclamation) as essential to understanding American history

Encourages citizens, schools, government agencies, municipalities, and organizations to recognize and participate in Patriot Week by celebrating American First Principles, historical figures, founding documents, and symbols
