Amends section 33b of the Corrections Code of 1953 to modify references to child abuse crimes in parole eligibility restrictions.

Changes the reference from "section 136b(2)" to "section 136b(1) or (3)" of the Michigan penal code, affecting which child abuse offenses carry parole ineligibility requirements.

Persons convicted of the specified crimes remain ineligible for parole until serving their minimum court-imposed sentence minus disciplinary credits, with limited exceptions.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, contingent on Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 6454 also being enacted into law.
