Replaces gendered pronouns ("he or she") with gender-neutral term "the prisoner" throughout the disciplinary time provisions.

Removes references to MCL 752.191 (former section 1 of 1931 PA 214) and clarifies that former sections 80, 205, 205a, 206, 208, 211, and 319 of the Michigan penal code are included in the disciplinary time framework.

Removes specific statutory citation "(marine safety)" from the reference to part 801 of the natural resources and environmental protection act.

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, contingent upon passage of House Bill 6454.
